Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

wheel.expert is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continuously improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Accessibility Features

Open the accessibility icon in the bottom-right corner of any page to adjust these settings; your choices are saved on your device and applied automatically on your next visit.

Visual Accessibility

  • Text size adjustable from 80% to 150% of the default
  • Three contrast modes: normal, high contrast, and inverted
  • Separate light and dark themes
  • Optional large cursor and underlined links for easier tracking
  • Optional focus highlighting on the element currently selected

Motor Accessibility

  • A "Skip to content" link is the first focusable element on every page
  • Every control is a native button or link reachable with Tab, in a consistent order
  • The wheel itself is keyboard-operable: Tab to it, then press Enter or Space to spin
  • Adding, editing, removing, and reordering wheel entries all work with Tab and Enter/Space, without a mouse

Cognitive Accessibility

  • "Reduce motion" turns off the spin animation and other non-essential motion
  • The same header, footer, and layout are used across every page
  • Settings changes are reflected immediately, with no hidden confirmation step

Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) throughout the site
  • ARIA labels on every icon-only control: spin button, theme toggle, language selector, entry list actions, accessibility panel
  • The wheel result is announced via a live region (role="status") when a spin finishes

Language Support

wheel.expert supports 21 languages, including right-to-left (RTL) languages:

  • English, Spanish, German, French, Italian
  • Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian
